All work done for school projects at Syracuse University - PRL214, PRL206, VIS207
In Spring 2025, I enrolled in a public relations writing course where I served as a
hypothetical PR professional for Moroccanoil. These materials were
developed for educational purposes. The following information related to Moroccanoil is not intended to be
factual but is part of a class writing assignment in Spring 2025 at the S.I. Newhouse
School of Public Communications, Syracuse University. All information is intended to be
sourced appropriately.

This link is to the feature story I wrote for PRL214. For this assignment, I was tasked with researching and writing a story about an event happening at Syracuse University. I chose to write about Syracuse Hillel's Passover prep and interviewed Mirielle Smith, the co-chair of the Passover committee.
This link is to a PDF version of my Moroccanoil eNewsletter created for PRL214. Using Brevo, I created e-newsletter content for Moroccanoil featuring a message from the founder, announcing a new made-up partnership.
This link is to my Moroccanoil media pitch and contact list. For this assignment, we were tasked with learning how to use MuckRack to create a media contact list. Then we had to write a media pitch for a specific reporter for a made-up event for the brand we focused on for the semester.
This link goes to a slideshow about Moroccanoil DEIA. For this project, I analyzed Moroccanoil's diversity and concluded with a CSA campaign pitch focused on sustainability.
This project was made for PRL214 around Groundhog Day. This project taught us how to newsjack a social media post. For this class, I focused on Moroccanoil throughout the entire semester. The goal of this project was to newsjack in a humorous way, while incorporating AI to enhance the image and increase our company's visibility.
This news release for Moroccanoil was created in the Spring of 2025 for PRL214. This project strengthened my AP Style skills.
This assignment is a Moroccanoil Fact Sheet created for PRL214. The assignment was to create a fictitious fact sheet for a company's upcoming anniversary. Earlier in the semester, we learned how to create a boilerplate, which was incorporated into this project.
The audience persona infographic was created for PRL214 to analyze the average Moroccanoil customer. This project helped me learn how to target specific demographics and the importance of knowing your audience.

This social media post was created in the fall of 2024 for VIS207. Using the Adobe Creative Cloud, I created, edited, and refined a social media post for an event of my creation.
The scroll story below was also created in the fall of 2024 for VIS207. The task was to take our social media project and use AI to create a news article. Then, we had to create a web scroll story on Figma.
This News Release was created in the Spring of 2024 for PRL206. For this assignment, we were tasked with developing an original idea for a company to be transformed into a news release. I chose to write about a special, limited-time Mother's Day event from Keebler featuring female elves on packaging.
This News Story was created in the Spring of 2024 for PRL206. This project taught the class, among other things, how to use AP style and format for PR-based publications. We were tasked with researching an event and writing a news story about it, incorporating quotes. I chose to write about the Syracuse Equestrian Team preparing six riders for its upcoming regional competition.
