Originating from Charlotte, North Carolina, Ivy Daitch is a Success Scholar at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and an ambassador to the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, majoring in international relations (Europe and International Law Organizations) and public relations with a minor in writing. Following the 2016 election and a period as a docent for the International Anne Frank House, Ivy discovered a passion for politics and social justice. Ivy understands the vast power of words and hopes to use hers to one day make a change for the better. Utilizing her skills in German, she aspires to work in government relations or the Jewish non-profit sector. In her free time, she is a Syracuse University Club English Equestrian team member and is active in the Jewish community as the 2024-2025 StandWithUs Emerson Fellow, AIPAC on Campus and Hillel High Holidays Co-Chair. In the summer of 2025, she is working in the development department for AIPAC's Diamond Summer Internship. She is dedicated to Jewish activism and Holocaust education and is currently on a journey of in-depth learning of the phrase "Never Again." This includes her former position as a 2024 Spector/Warren Fellow for Syracuse University and the Holocaust Museum Houston.
